BOB GRISEL
Dr. Grisel graduated from the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine prior to moving to southern California where he received extensive training in equine surgery and radiology. Upon completing a residency in equine surgery, Bob and his family moved to Oregon, where Bob spent time on the teaching staff at Oregon State's College of Veterinary Medicine. Looking forward to returning to the east coast, the Grisel's moved to Braselton Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. There they built a state-of-the-art full service equine diagnostic, surgical and emergency care facility. Dr. Grisel has since left the hospital to focus on performance medicine and surgery.

Bob performs surgery and lameness evaluations (including diagnostic imaging) for the clinic, which serves more than 75% dressage clientele. Approximately 20% of Bob's time is spent out-of-town, performing lameness evaluations and/or surgery. Bob visits North Carolina every couple of months to monitor the horses in training at North Star Training Center.
